About the Artist

Frieda Hohman Hoback, a resident of New Smyrna Beach Florida, received her interior design degree from the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute, where she was presented the portfolio award.

She was a licensed designer in the State of Florida and a member of the ASID. She expanded her design to the Cayman Islands. Being surrounded by so much natural beauty, she began to paint, and her art was sold at the Kennedy Gallery in Grand Cayman, after a five-year adventure, she returned to Florida.

She then journeyed to the South of France to paint and those paintings were exhibited at the University Club in Winter Park. Her art has also been exhibited at the Steinway Piano Gallery, Millenia Mall, Orlando City Hall, the Casselberry City Hall in Central Florida, and the Artists Workshop of New Smyrna Beach. Her paintings have been published in the Orlando Magazine "Paint the Town" publications. Her original paintings are in private collections in the United States and the Caribbean.
